Michael Kunman
DIRECTOR / PGA PROFESSIONAL
Michael is the Director of Perth Golf Centre and a qualified PGA Professional. After completing his PGA Traineeship at both The Links Kennedy Bay (Rated Number 4 in Australia) and The Western Australian Golf Club, his passion is now focused on turning Perth Golf Centre into one of Australia's top coaching facilities.
Bringing in over 14 years of experience in the golfing industry, Michael has a wealth of knowledge including Advanced Status in Coaching with the PGA of Australia, Trackman Certified and Titleist Performance Institute Certified (TPI).
Michael's teaching philosophy is to work within a students abilities and course a plan of action to help improve their game. He prefers a coaching methodology rather than purely technical instruction. This means that he will analyse your game and find the areas that can help to lower your scores rather than pursue the task of having a perfect golf swing.

Matt Wolfe
PGA PROFESSIONAL / HEAD CLUBFITTER

Matt has grown up around golf from a very young age so it was only natural for him to pursue a career in the sport that he loves.
Following a tidy Amateur career, representing the State on 3 occasions, Matt completed a PGA traineeship in 2007. Having some 25 plus years within the golf industry as both a player and a coach, Matt has developed a strong passion for improving the game and is forever researching/learning and chasing the perfect golf swing and new technologies and innovation in golf equipment.
His eagerness to learn and his curiosity towards the golf swing has seen him surround himself with some of the best mentors in WA. In addition to helping his clients improve their game, Matt thoroughly enjoys managing the PGC Junior program and loves teaching and watching the next generation enjoy and improve their game, all while having fun.
Some of Matts best qualities as a coach is his knowledge, experience and ability to break down the golf swing and simplify the process. When Matt isn’t working he loves to surf, fish and have a beer… or even better, playing a round of golf with his friends!

Conor Brown
PGA PROFESSIONAL / CLUB FITTER
Conor is an Advanced Australian PGA Professional based at the beautiful Royal Perth Golf Club. Conor has worked with some of the best coaches and played amongst some of the best amateur and professional golfers in Australia over the past 17 years.
Conor coaches from the complete beginner to the elite player. He is a modern game development coach, focusing and understanding the complexity of the golf swing, short game and course strategy skills. Whilst understanding the technical side of the game Conor likes to keep a simplistic communication approach in his lessons for the everyday golfer to understand.

Danny Malcolm

Have you ever had the desire to reach your full potential in golf, but struggled to get there and make it last? That was a question I often pondered when I first started coaching golf back in 2005. In the early years as a golf coach, I watched my clients struggle to move the golf club in the "perfect way", and get frustrated when we couldn't get them the results they wanted. It was my own personal passion for health and fitness that led me to discover more about the importance of the individual's body and how it relates to the golf swing.
In 2012, I spent some time at Royal Melbourne Golf Club with Dave Phillips (coach to the likes of Jon Rahm), where my eyes were completely opened up to what was possible for my students! I started to think differently about how I coach and begun to coach in a more individualised manner that takes into account each person's limitations. I now believe every person is unique and there's no perfect way to swing a golf club.

After recently becoming a dad for the first time, I have a fresh appreciation for how busy life can get and the frustrations of many of my clients. I too want to still enjoy my golf and with an ageing body, new shoulder injuries and less time to exercise, I am adapting and making the best of what my body and lifestyle allows. Now more than ever, I understand that we need to change the way we coach golf, because the "one size fits all approach" just doesn't work for busy people with physical limitations and lives outside of golf.

My mission as a golf coach is to HELP THE EVERYDAY GOLFER, just like you, CREATE LASTING SUCCESS with a golf game that is based around what your body and lifestyle allows.

John Boulton
PGA PROFESSIONAL / CLUB FITTER
As a John started golf from a very young age and has been passionate about the game for a very long time. John played most of his golf at Lakelands but moved to The Western Australian Golf Club in 2017 where he won the Club Championships.
​
In 2018 John moved to Mount Lawley to start his PGA Traineeship and over his 3 years, won the WA State Championship and Graduated as the number one player on the National stroke averages.
John now returns to the Western Australian Golf Club under Perth Golf Centre as a coach and also travels around Australia on the Australasian Tour.
John's main focus in coaching is maximising distance and accuracy through stable club delivery and being able to maneuver your way around the course, through practical shot shaping and a prolific short game.

Roshan Fernando
PGA PROFESSIONAL

Roshan is a qualified PGA professional who has been in the golf industry for 9 years. He began working at Hamersley Golf Course where he commenced his traineeship in 2017. After teaching and working at the Hamersley, he moved to The Western Australian Golf Club in 2021.
​
Roshan started playing golf at the age of 14 as a junior golfer at Lake Karrinyup Country Club and Joondalup Country Club. As a Professional, he has competed in tournaments both locally and interstate wide.
​
Roshan’s focus in coaching is to work with individuals’ capabilities and learning styles to create a repeatable, bio-mechanically safe golf swing and to help clients understand how different parts of their body should move in the golf swing and why.
